Horovits is an open observability pundit, an international speaker and the host of the popular OpenObservability Talks podcast. He is an Ambassador of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and Ambassador of the OpenSearch Software Foundation, and serves as a lead for the Observability TAG (technical advisory group) in OpenSearch, and a lead for CI/CD Observability SIG (special interest group) in OpenTelemetry, among others.

Working as senior developer advocate for the Open Source team at AWS, Horovits evangelizes on the OpenSearch project by the Linux Foundation and on Observability in IT systems.
