Alexander Marshalov

I am a passionate software engineer who has worked in various spheres along the way: from the development of stored procedures in Oracle to modern cloud-native applications (backend + frontend) on Kotlin/Golang/React for Kubernetes.

Recently, I have been working on developers tools and infrastructure development:
– Golang: Kubernetes-operators, web services and tools for CI/CD.
– Typescript: React UI and extensions for VS Code.

I like difficult tasks. I prefer to work in a team. I am focused on the quality of the product and its maintainability, so I am proud of the projects that make. I like to learn something new and share knowledge. I don’t get attached to technology, I believe that different tools can be suitable for different tasks.

I have little experience of participating in Opensource projects (for example, there are commits in CPython and Clickhouse).
Participated in the program committee of the IT-conference (called Codefest):

I was a member of the PyNsk (now inactive) – community of python developers, where I periodically made presentations, e.g:
– “Python performance optimization” – http://2016.codefest.ru/lecture/1117
– “Modify it!” or “More Python magic by changing the AST” – https://vk.com/wall-96469126_1029
– Slides from Codefest – https://vk.com/wall-96469126_2306
