Kris Buytaert

Kris Buytaert is a long time Linux and Open Source consultant, and a DevOps and Open Source expert and engineering leader. He is one of the instigators of the DevOps movement.

He spends most of his time bridging the gap between developers and operations, with a strong focus on high availability, scalability, virtualisation and large infrastructure management projects, building infrastructures that can survive the 10th floor test, better known today as the cloud.

He started more than one conference series and lost count of how many times he has spoken at other events, and has written about these subjects in books, papers and articles. He has not blogged for a while, but people still point out the title of his blog: “Everything is a Freaking DNS Problem”.
